I installed a new Am Standard shower mixing valve in a bathroom renovation. Water valves are on in basement but when I turned valve to test I got a quick spurt of water and then nothing. Any ideas? Do I need to adjust something on the new valve to get it to work? |

Remove the shower head and test it again---sounds like the filter is clogged out---
