EUGENE, Ore. - Drunk driving charges against a University of Oregon football player have been dropped after city prosecutors determined they could not prove the man's guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
Police arrested senior defensive tackle Isaac Remington on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants after a traffic stop at 12:30 a.m. Oct. 12 at 12th and Kincaid.
Remington was cited and released and wasn't booked into the Lane County Jail, police said.
Remington failed a field sobriety test but registered a .06 blood alcohol level, below the legal limit, prosecutors said.
The city prosecutor dropped the charge, saying the city couldn't prove Remington's guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
The Ducks lifted Remington's suspension from the team on Tuesday.
Remington took to Twitter in the afternoon, saying "I would like to thank everyone who believed me. Thank you for your prayers and support. #goducks."
