Luka Rocco Magnotta has been charged in the murder of Jun Lin, a Chinese student.
Police suspect that Luka Rocco Magnotta (born Eric Newman), 29, killed Lin, a 33-year-old student from China who worked part-time at a convenience store, according to the Montreal Gazette. They believe Magnotta filmed the murder and dismemberment, then posted the footage online. ?
Montreal police say?Magnotta filmed Lin's murder and posted it on a website specializing in gore. The video shows a man with an ice pick stabbing another naked, bound male. He also dismembers the corpse and performs sexual acts with it in what police called a horrifying video.
Meanwhile, the Toronto Star has reported that a Montreal high school teacher was suspended for showing students the video, which has circulated on gore sites throughout the web.
